Education

I received a bachelor’s degree in Bible from Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Family

My wife, Crystal, and I have been married since June 27, 1998. I grew up near Indianapolis, Indiana and have lived and ministered in North Carolina ,Virginia and Louisiana since 1989. My wife Crystal grew up near Charlotte, North Carolina. Crystal is part of a preacher’s family. On March 8, 2000 we welcomed twin boys into our family- Alexander and Andy. We know that the Lord has a sense of humor because we welcomed another set of twin boys- Zach and Zane, on April 2, 2004. They have changed our lives drastically and are blessings from God.

Basketball; reading (mainly history); playing board games; fishing; collecting coins; traveling; hiking

Paul is married to Julia and they have three grown sons, Cam, Brandon and Matthew who all grew up and live in Monterey.

Paul grew up in southern Minnesota and moved down to Monterey to work with the church and start a bus ministry. He stayed because he can't stand the cold Minnesota months and his wife grew up here.

Paul farms about 500 acres and does his own painting business. He is one of the main adult teachers for the church.

Robert is married to Ann and they have three grown sons, Bob, Kim and Randy. Two of their sons are airline pilots and Robert and Ann enjoy cheap travel because of it.

Robert and Ann were both long-time teachers at Monterey High School and both retired from the school here.

Robert and Ann both grew up in Monterey, but they love to travel away from here and see the world and their two sons who live away from Monterey. Robert and Ann have 10 grandchildren who they love to spoil.

Russell is married to Catherine and they have two grown children, Rusty and Sherri.

Russell has been involved in ministry for over 50 years. He currently preaches on Sunday mornings at the Monterey Christian Church, but he has also had ministries in Hamburg, Iowa and was once the preaching minister right here at the Monterey Church of Christ.

Vance is married to Gay and they have one daugther, Laren, who just graduated from the University of Mississippi. Vance and Gay both grew up in Monterey and have lived here their whole life. Both of them are heavily involved in the music ministry and host a small group in their home.

Vance works in construction and Gay is a teacher at Monterey High School. They have recently remodeled their house and it's a great place to have a small group Bible study.

Jack is married to Betty Jo and they have two grown children, Joe and Jill, plus a son, Guy, who is deceased..Jack is a local legend, having coached the Monterey High School boys basketball team for over 30 years and being inducted into the Louisiana High School Hall Of Fame.
Betty Jo was a receptionist at Monterey High School until she retired.

Jack and Betty Jo are involved in the church a lot of ways that no one sees such as making sure the gym floor is clean and all the rats are chased out of the recreation building kitchen. They are both retired from the school system and enjoy every second of their "free time" with their three grandchildren.
