On Sunday, January 29th, we'll have a the pleasure of meeting missionary, Jean Paulite, and his wife, Julie, from the Dominican Republic. The Paulites are Haitians who work with Haitians who live in the Dominican Republic. Jean has started 7 churches, and has ministers in each of the churches. He will be speaking for us that day.
A new sermon series called, Mission Minded, starts on Sunday January 8th. If you've ever wondered why you can't stay on mission with anything, why you are so easily distracted from doing what you know God wants you to do...this sermon series is for you. (and this is pretty much all of us.)
Our childrens and youth ministries resume on Wednesday, January 4th at 6:30. Our children's ministry goes from ages nursery to 5th grade and our youth ministry goes from grades 6-12. Parents are always welcomed to come along with their kids, too.
This week's tough question is, What is heaven like? A lot of Christians are not very excited about heaven, because they think it will be a boring existence of playing a harp on a cloud. It is so much more than that. Don't miss it...Sunday night at 6 pm.
